Last fall we bought our first home together--a fantastic old loft apartment in a 12-story pre-war building in Chelsea. Not quite knowing all that it would entail, we've embarked upon a renovation project that we're chronicling here both to help keep us sane and with the hope that some of what we're learning might be helpful to other first time renovators.
